About Us

World Movement of Christian Workers

Founded in 1966, the World Movement of Christian Workers (MMTC) is an international NGO uniting over 50 organizations across four continents to support all workers in formal, informal, or alternative economies. Rooted in the Gospel and recognized by the Catholic Church, the movement champions personal dignity, social justice, and a preferential option for the vulnerable, while remaining open to all who share a vision of solidarity and decent work regardless of race or religion. Through action-based training and the “see-judge-act” life review method, MMTC empowers workers and their families to drive positive societal change, engage with grassroots organizations, and advocate for their rights on a global stage.
